The Company began its activity in 1992 being a small restoration workshop. Nowadays the OOO «INTARSIA» (LLC) is the managing company of the Group of companies «INTARSIA», which develops large scale projects in construction, reconstruction and modernization, and restoration both in Saint-Petersburg and in regions of
«More than 19 years ago we entered the market as a restoration workshop. And we achieved a lot in these years. Now «INTARSIA» is a group of companies which can implement the whole range of works, complying with requirements of any customer. We are trusted with projects that are unquestioned masterpieces of architecture and art recognized worldwide.

During 19 years the areas of «INTARSIA» activities have substantially widened: companies, the members of the Group, render services in engineering design, work in industrial and civil construction, reconstruction, and restoration.
«INTARSIA» is proud of its works at the architectural masterpieces, such as the Rostral Columns at the Spit (Strelka) of Basil Island, the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, «The Glory Chariot» monument on the Arch of the General Staff Building (which did not see restoration for nearly 100 years), sculpture groups «Horse Tamers» at the Anichkov bridge, the Smolny Cathedral, the façades and metal decorations of the Palace of Grand Duke Nikolay Nikolayevich and Princess Tenisheva’s mansion-house; restoration of the Narvskie Triumph Gate, and of the Alexander Column – which is one of the most honorary and important projects, the Mikhailovsky Castle, and the palace of Grand Duke Alexey Alexandrovich for accommodation of the House of Music.

But not only restoration is nowadays the key competence of «INTARSIA». Saint-Petersburg is now going through a period of reconstruction. And all companies of the Group «INTARSIA» are faced with a challenge – while taking into consideration modern needs, to preserve the original image of historical buildings untouched, lest to disfigure famous panoramic views of Saint-Petersburg.
That is why the Group of companies «INTARSIA» pays a lot of attention to advanced developments and extended knowledge in the area of construction technologies. Among unique projects of restoration and adaptation, which the Group of companies «INTARSIA» works on, there are restoration and reconstruction of the Eastern wing of the General Staff building of the State Hermitage; reconstruction of the historical look of the Voskresensky Novo-Jerusalemsky stavropegial friary of the Russian Orthodox Church in Istra (Moscow region); and designing, reconstruction and restoration of the house of Lobanovy-Rostovskye for accommodation of a Four Seasons five-star hotel.
Among significant projects of «INTARSIA» in new construction there are the medical rehabilitation building of the Almazov Federal Centre for heart, blood and endocrinology, the Centre of children’s and youth creativity «Zerkalny» in Leningrad region (Leningradskaya oblast), and an art school.
To keep leadership in the modern business conditions, a company should be able to react quickly and accordingly to changes in the outside environment.
